All the Love is a book dedicated to supporting and empowering women and their partners through miscarriage, stillbirth, and other types of pregnancy loss. These losses are intertwined with longing, and change us in ways none of us are prepared for. Together, we can console, comfort, collaborate, and grow.
Part memoir, part therapy session, the book combines the personal story of Kim Hooper, who endured four losses, with insights from therapists who also happen to be her friends—Meredith Resnick (a licensed social worker) and Dr. Huong Diep (a board-certified psychologist).
Topics in the book shine a contemporary light on the emotional rollercoaster of grief, and include:
How to navigate the medical part of pregnancy loss
Reconnecting with your partner when you grieve differently
Loss and grief after fertility treatments
Considerations for LGBTQ+ couples
Returning to “normal” life and rediscovering yourself
Deciding whether to try again
Having a baby after a loss—pregnancy, birth, and everything that comes after
Racial, cultural, and socioeconomic issues
Coping with extreme sadness and emotional pain
