As your pregnancy began, so did a new love—for your child, for your role as a parent. Now what? Where does the love go? It’s this question that underlies so much of grief. Grief and love—two sides of the same coin.

For a loss that is so common, your experience is beautifully unique. Yet, even though this experience is yours and yours alone, you may feel like a stranger to yourself in this new landscape of loss and love.

Losing a baby you will never have the chance to know is devastating. It is traumatic. It’s been said that pregnancy loss is the loneliest grief that millions of people experience. Our goal is to make that grief a little less lonely.

As you explore this site, you will find posts to support you on this journey through grief and love where no two days are the same—one day, you feel “okay”; the next, despair. This site is designed to make it easy for you to find what you need on any given day. Posts are written by women who have been through pregnancy loss, as well as therapists who can provide clarity and insight.
